Telkom Support Modernization and Digitalization Business Facility of Bank Sumut

PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) again shows its commitment in supporting regional development, especially in banking sector through modernization of business facilities of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara (Bank Sumut). This was stated by Deputy Executive Vice President of Telkom Enterprise Service Division Suhartono at Kick Off Project Implementation of Smart Lift at Bank Sumut Head Office in Medan, Wednesday (7/6).

Representing TelkomGroup management, Suhartono expressed his gratitude for the trust of Bank Sumut to Telkom to modernize Bank Sumut business facilities supported by the provision of ICT (Smart Lift). "Telkom as the largest SOE service provider (Information and Communication Technology) company in Indonesia is always committed to provide ICT service solution support needed by companies, especially Bank Sumut," said Suhartono.

Smart Lift is an elevator modernization with technology to meet customers' specific needs that prioritize speed, safety, and environment. Through this technology, the elevator will sort the passengers with the adjacent floor so it takes a short time to get compared to the far apart.

Suhartono asserted that Telkom is ready to support Bank Sumut's vision to become a highly competitive regional bank and can promote sustainable regional economic growth and development through digitizing banking. "We have set up dedicated teams to ensure the implementation of the project in accordance with the target time set," explained Suhartono.

Meanwhile, President Director of Bank Sumut Edie Rizliyanto is optimistic that Telkom Bank Sumut support is capable of digital transformation. "In the effort to transform BPD, the improvement of service quality is absolutely necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. One of them is through the modernization of facilities and infrastructure of business support company, "said Edie Rizliyanto.
